The Hand Project
The Hand Project is a unique corporate CSR team building opportunity to make a real difference in the world while building the spirit and cohesion of your team.
A few days before your online event, each member of your team will receive a 'Hand Project' kit from DHL, Go Green, which contains all the necessary components and tools.
When the team members log into the online meeting, Chris Gulley, of Team Benefit / The Hand Project, will be providing a online briefing with powerful video and imagery to help the team understand the importance of what they are about to do.
With the help of the detailed online instructions and help from the moderator and the team, each team member is enabled, step by step, to assemble their “own” hand prosthesis. At the same time the event will develop the feeling of being part of a meaningful team action.
Once the hands are finsihed, Chris will conclude with some real life stories from recipients showing the difference prosthetic hands make for those in need.
After the online event, the team members can decorate the carrier bag in which the prosthetic hand is sent to the beneficiary in a developing country. Families and friends are welcome to be included in this part of the process. In this way, this special event and its effects on the participants can be shared and carried on.
The team members then use the return slip to return their completed hand..
